Kontxesi (Zyanya Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
 Life and Society:
Only close friends and relatives greet each other by first name. Kontxesi peoples are rather superstitious, possibly due to having once been part of Sclavini and still being part of the black forest. They are considered a bit odd by the other Amareth. Men greet women by kissing their hands, and men greet men with a handshake that grips the wrists. Women greet women with a kiss on the cheek. Men remove their hats before entering churches and buildings other than stores. People also remove gloves before shaking hands. Many women cover their heads when entering a church.
The family has always been important to Kontxesi, and the father maintains a dominant role. Young people live at home until they are married. Arranged marriages are not unusual, though both may choose to opt out of an arranged match. Private farms are usually composed of a two- or three-bedroom home built of stone, surrounded by a fence, a garden and orchard, and small farm buildings. The people of Kontxesi are fairly self-sufficient, with most of the feudal system being strictly formality. Most Kontxesi never leave their home villages, relying on peddlers for trade and news.
Children are often named after saints, and godparents are chosen before the child reaches their first year. Most families have mausoleums or crypts, often part of natural cave complexes in the rocky areas.
Though they were originally Sclavini, they have embraced the religion of Samad, but in their own way. They have made their superstitions part of their faith, and in their way, are among the most loyal of Samad's followers, believing that the god touches everything they do. They both consider 'witchcraft' a great evil and accept it among their villages.
