How to jump and attack?[edit]

How is the system to jump and attack a flying creature? Suppose there's a flying creature two squares above the ground, can I jump and attack it with a longsword? How?

Your reach is 5', so if the creature is 10' up, you need to high jump 5', which is a DC 20 Jump check. Your jump is included in your movement, so you could do it as part of a charge. As a DM I would probably ask for a -2 penalty to the attack roll. Marasmusine (talk) 15:27, 9 June 2013 (MDT)
