This piece of siege equipment has a rail gun-like style, and only being charged by pure magic, needing at least 1 spell caster monitoring the siege weapon at all times along with a gunner that mans the weapon. A important side note is that there is a crystal fill with pure magic in the middle of the weapon and once the ion cannon drops below 50 hit points the crystal is exposed. If the crystal takes damage from a spell of 1st level or higher, it explodes in a 40 foot sphere. Every creature within that area must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw, taking 15d6 force damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. If this damage reduces the creature to 0 hit points, it is reduced to a pile of fine powder, along with any nonmagical equipment.


Energy Blast. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 300/600 ft., one target. Hit: 10d6 force damage.
