[[3e Summary::This spell allows the caster to infuse one touched creature with a +5 inherent bonus to Intelligence permanently.]] This bonus does not stack with any other inherent bonuses a creature may have from other magical sources. NOTES: This spell can easily be made by a 40th level Wizard or Sorcerer with 43 ranks in Spellcraft, 5 or more ranks in Knowledge (arcana) (for the synergy bonus), the feats Magical Aptitude and Skill Focus (Spellcraft), a Headband of Epic Intellect +12, and an Intelligence score of 28 by taking on his check. Also, the average backlash damage for casting this spell is 280 points of damage, whereas the average 40th-level wizard's or scorcerer's health (without accounting for Constitution) is 100 hit points, so casting this spell is extremely hazardous unless you have a Constitution of at least 20 or some way to gain enough health to survive the backlash damage.
