This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Restored previous "Needs Balance" tag, as the criticisms are legitimate. Previous content by Tivanir was: Ok so this weapon does 1d6 to 4d6 and you add anywhere between 2 and 8 to the damage and all this costs you 2k? at a minimum this thing would be a +4 enhancement since your damage is anywhere between 3-8 and 12-32. Also since this is magical ammunition I am betting you get to take a full attack with it so an average fighter could theoretically pump out 128 before feats every round not including other weapon bonuses. and he can do this from range.

[edit] Ice spikes
This weapon magical weapon enhancement can only be used on any crossbow and any bow. When shooting at an enemy Ice spikes shoots out ice spikes instead of the normal ammunition the same size of the bolt or arrow that would normally be used. Roll 1d4 to determine how many shoot out. For each one that does shoot out it is +1 for damage and +1 for ice damage.
Price: +2 bonus.
