IM1-Buster (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
IM1-Buster [Racial]
Your BM1-Buster is upgraded to an Improved Mega 1-Buster, the new design is custom fit for you and has extra vents for better cooling, stylish fins are optional. The new buster will allow you to charge a small amount of Kenetic energy into a damaging blast.
Prerequisite: Level 5 character, Warforged or Construct,Ability score 14 Strength, Consitiution 18 , atleast 4 Ranks in Concentraction & the BM1-Buster Feat.
Benifit: Just like the BM1-Buster, with a few new exceptions. The max amount of projectiles that can be held is increased by 5 for a total of 15, because each charge uses 5 projectiles. If the projectiles are enchanted, like a +1 arrow, they add into the total damage, but not on the attack roll, it will be still a +1 on attack rolls. So having five +1 arrows will deal an extra 5 damage on a charge damage roll. Charge damage is 2d8/x2 and refer to d20srd.org[1] for damage scaling. You can also use this as a Light Mace now, but can't interchange ranged attacks with melee.
Special: Just like the BM1-Buster if you do not meet the requirments for the IM1-Buster, it regresses back to a sling like weapon and can't fire kenetic shots. Though unlike the BM1-Buster if you roll a 1 on an Charge attack roll, you must make a consititution check DC 10 + the enchanment bonus on the weapon and each enchanted projectile, if applicable, if you fail the weapon over heats and you must wait 1d4 + Enchantment bonus before being able to use it again, also ranged based feat can't be used till its cooled off. On a double 1 Charge attack roll, to see if you fumble the weapon, the cannon over heats and damages it self, you or a near by allie with in 30ft for the damage instead and you can break the cannon this way too. The cost for fixing a broken IM1-Buster is 300 gp, 750 gp if masterwork + 1/2 the enchantment cost if it had one. Side Note, you can not use many shot, rapid shot or similar feats with a charged shot.
