Herbarius (WORK IN PROGRESS, kindly do not edit)[edit]

The Herbarius is a supportive spell caster, whereas all of his physical strength stems, literally, from his plant companion, which he has spent his time growing and caring for. The primary feature of this class is thus the plant itself, with an array of traits and abilities to choose from, to customize your companion as you see fit..

Making a Herbarius[edit]

What the Herbarius personally lacks in strength, he makes up for as a healer and support caster. Based on customization, the Herbarius' plant companion can fill most any combat-oriented role the party might be lacking, which makes the Herbarius a strong addition to the group..

Abilities: The Herbarius himself values Wisdom above all else, while the plant can be grown into most anything - though as hard as the Herbarius might try to make it otherwise, the plant simply isn't particularly intelligent.

Races: Most elves will shun Herbarii, seeing their floral pet project as an abomination against nature, although exceptions happen. Mostly among their relatives, the half-elves; However most other races will at the least be unbothered..

Alignment: Any, but preferred are Lawful and Chaotic variants - while one Herbarius will argue that the laws of Nature bind him, another will just as severely be convinced that Nature a chaotic and fickle mistress.

Starting Age: Complex.
