[edit] Hellas

[edit] Description

Hellas is a setting designed loosely after the Ancient Mediterranean World from approximately 800 B.C.E. to 250 C.E. It incorporates magic (and the other facets of stock roleplaying), but digresses from the normal paradigm of Medieval Europe to explore different fascinating themes and locales. The setting is an amalgamation of information about how to run an Ancient World setting, including weapons, religion, culture (including lifestyle and communication), and myriad other things.

[edit] Adventures in the Ancient World

Information detailing the way "normal" rules change, including information about common weapons, modes of transportation, religion and communication, and the way magic changes the Ancient Mediterranean world.

[edit] Lands of the Mediterranean

While the historical physical geography of the Mediterranean is used for this setting, some significant political differences arise with the addition of magic and wandering monsters.

[edit] Ancient Religion and Deities

A catalog of some of the major deities of the Ancient World, primarily focusing upon Graeco-Roman deities but inclusive of many other Near Eastern deities.

[edit] Iconic Foes

Information about all sorts of classic monsters, including monsters from many stock fables (including Heracles' 12 Labors).
