Background[edit]

Periodically a powerful spellcaster gets bored or crazy and decides to do something to amuse themselves. Often this results in laying waste to the kingdom one way or another, but sometimes they just make things like: a short sword that sing show tunes (badly), candles that burn upside-down, clothing that acts as a bag of holding, flaming lightning, shoes that wont touch the ground, and magical tableware. Rarely though, they take a fancy to husbandry, this is the only way to get a Dwelgrorc and other such improbable breeds.
