[edit] Gronfrox

Often savage, brutal and physically powerful, Gronfrox are very different from other Inhumans because they have a radically different mental set up and are far more common.

Rarely (about every few years) a nation may give birth to a son or daughter that has a very special gift and curse. An ability to communicate with the wild, coupled with an utterly savage and primitive personality. Gronfrox are born to human parents and most are simply put down to birth defects. None know what causes this to occur, although many speculate it could be some form of planetouched factor, Gronfrox can mate with humans and the children of such a union are perfectly normal humans. They do not even breed true with another Gronfrox. There is no family that shows any inclination towards such births, in fact written records seldom go back far enough to record a second in a family. There is no way short of divination magic such as commune of telling a deformed human from a Gronfrox.

Although it rarely comes up the plural of Gronfrox is Gronfrox, much like sheep.

[edit] Note

Gronfrox, along with Aanan, Hendyn, Norkton, Peir-Faiff and Xenex are known as Inhumans. They are a group of human subraces with varied qualities but a similar background.

[edit] Personality

Gronfrox are just as varied as humans, but with a far more animalistic bent. Gronfrox are spartan by nature and prefer not to rely on technology (which they seldom understand in any case).

[edit] Physical Description

Gronfrox are shorter than humans due to their bent spines. They tend to be horrifically malformed and have hair and warts all over.

[edit] Relations

Gronfrox tend to get on well with other Inhumans as they are a world apart from humans. They do well with races that appreciate physical strength, but not "civilized" races which view them with suspicion.

[edit] Alignment

Rarely Lawful rarely good.

[edit] Lands

Gronfrox have no lands of their own. Occasionally a settlement of Inhumans may begin to grow but they tend to stay small.

[edit] Religion

Gronfrox tend to have difficulty with religion but respect the might of clerics.

[edit] Language

Common

[edit] Names

Gronfrox have human names
