Golden Empire (Golden Legacy Supplement)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The Golden Empire is one of the mightiest nations of the world, with a population of millions. Its government is highly bureaucratic, but efficient from centuries of refinement. Nobility in the Golden Empire is divided among nine Houses, each corresponding to one of the Incarnates.

Members of each noble House bear their House name, then their family name, then their given name. Commoners have only a family name and their given name.

Great House Kazuki[edit]

House Kazuki is associated with Kouryuu and administrates the Empire as a whole. It is the bloodline of the Golden Emperor, and as such composes the hereditary rulers of the Empire. It is not divided into families; each member of the house bears the name Kazuki, then their given name, and none other.

House Kazuki, as the extended royal family of the Golden Emperor, is the administrative House of the Empire and manages nationwide concerns and interactions between the lesser Houses. It directly rules the central Imperial Province, Shenghua, from the immense capital city of Tenjuku.

The Kazuki family have distinctive golden eyes, which they claim is proof of their direct descent from Kouryuu. This claim is further backed by the House's immense magical aptitude and a much greater number of Void Adepts than the lower Houses.

Members of House Kazuki usually marry second or third cousins; marriage outside the House is extremely rare and requires the personal approval of the Emperor.
