[edit] Goad's Curse Description & How It Is Obtained
The Goad's curse is a very strong and powerful curse, but it can also be very useful. It is obtained by killing a Goad Devil by the only way of killing it. That way is by ripping it's heart out. Once the heart is ripped out, the persons hand will be cursed with eternal flame. This curse cannot be removed. Now the person is walking around with a hand of bright flames. The person cannot do any activities that get them excited or pumped up, (I.e. Running, Sexual Intercourse, etc.), or else the flame covering their hand will grow to an enormous height, setting all grass and trees and clothing on fire in a 30ft diameter. This will hurt the cursed one and any allies wearing clothing, unless a save vs. Spell is made. If failed, the person takes 1d4 points per round for 3 rounds. If saved, the person takes half the damage for only 1 round...
[edit] Penalties
- If the person that is cursed becomes very angry, their soul disappears and goes to a sanctuary (see below), and their body becomes a automaton that is incredibly strong. This automaton will go out and kill anything it see's, even their friends. After killing the victim, the automaton will begin to devour them. If the person in the sanctuary opens a big red door, they will appear back in their body, and in control. If they appear back in their body while they are devouring something, roll a saving throw vs. Fear. If save, the person will stop eating and walk away to clean up themselves. If failed, the person will stop devouring and begin to vomit, stunning them for 10 rounds.
[edit] Benefits
- Gives the cursed person the ability to send plasma fire balls out of their hand. The plasma comes out like a machine gun, shooting 10 + 1d6 plasma balls that do 2d6 + 2 damage per hit.
- Gives the cursed person the ability to go to their very own sanctuary. To do this, one must stare at the fire on their hand for 10 seconds. Then their body and soul disappear and appear in a small room. This room can be shaped however the cursed person wants it to look like. There will be a big red door that the person opens in order to get out of the room and back to reality. The person in the room can create anything in the room, like artifacts or a butler, but such items cannot be taken out of the sanctuary. Any item that is brought into the sanctuary will remain in the sanctuary unless taken out. You can create monsters to face in the sanctuary but they will give you no experience for killing them. This is good for sleeping safe at night. There are penalties though for having this (see above).
