Gnome Loremaster "Divine Scrolls Reader" (3.5e Optimized Character Build)

A small illusionist that can use Bardic knowledge like abilities, and can read any kind of scrolls thanks to the Use Magic Device skill.

Race and Templates
Only mandatory: Skill Focus(Knowledge:arcana)and the first 3 metamagic, rest are just to enhance some feature.
Bard spells: pick useful spells like Prestidigitation, and Read Magic. Wizard spells: illusion spells ,some enchantment spells, and divine spells will be helpful.
Starting Ability Scores:
Begin with as much in Intelligency as you can, second best attribute must be Charisma.Dexterety and Wisdom are helpful too.

Forest Gnome (+2 Con,-2 Str)
Starting Racial Traits:
These traits are in addition to the rock gnome traits, except where noted.
- Pass without Trace (Su): A forest gnome has the innate ability to use pass without trace (self only, as a free action) as the spell cast by a druid of the forest gnome’s class levels.
- +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against kobolds, goblinoids, orcs, and reptilian humanoids.
- Automatic Languages: Gnome, Elven, Sylvan, and a simple language that enables them to communicate on a very basic level with forest animals (this replaces the rock gnome’s speak with animals ability). Bonus Languages: Common, Draconic, Dwarven, Giant, Goblin, Orc. This trait replaces the rock gnome’s automatic and bonus languages.
- +4 racial bonus on Hide checks, which improves to +8 in a wooded area.

Two good Saving Throws
Will saves high , Reflex saves are pretty good too.
Use Magic Device
+4 with scrolls (by sinergy with Decipher Script and Spellcraft), +5 with feats(Magical Aptitude,and Skill focus), and with 5 ranks in this skill thanks to the bard you get at least: 14(scrolls) or 10(anything else) on this check, without the Charisma modifier.Any magic item that you have trouble to deal with as a wizard , you have a chance to activate it with this skill.
Greater spell focus stacks with Spell focus, and the racial trait that adds +1 to the Difficulty Class for all saving throws against illusion spells cast by gnomes.Heighten Spell [Metamagic] can increase even more the Difficulty Class of the spells.
Can learn many languages, useful for enchantment spells.
Get charisma enhancer items and collect all kind of scrolls.
