Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)

While you wear these gauntlets, you can use an action to hurl a bolt of lightning at a point you can see within 100 feet of you. Each creature within 10 feet of that point must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 10d8 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Once the gauntlets are used in this way, they cannot be used again until the next dawn.
