Arrow of Frost (5e Equipment)

Weapon (arrow), common

Arrows of frost look as though they were made only of ice, though they do not melt. When the arrow hits its target, it deals an extra 1d8 cold damage, as the arrow creates a small amount of magical ice.
Once an arrow of frost deals its extra damage to a creature, it shatters.
Other types of magic ammunition of this kind exist, such as bolts of frost meant for a crossbow, though arrows are most common.
