Class Features[edit]

Savage yet simple. All of the following are class features of the Forest Dweller.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Same as a druid[1] Except since they do not change shape they always have natural weapon proficiency.

Spells: For the purposes of casting magic the Forest Dweller is treated like a druid[2] with 3 exceptions those being: 1, the forest dweller casts spontaneously. 2, the forest dweller uses constitution as their casting stat. 3 the forest dweller can cast spells while disregarding alignment.

Monster's Mark: At first level the forest dweller gains 3 natural weapons: a pair of claws, a bite attack, and a tail whip. all of these are scaled to the character's size and are treated as if they already had them their whole lives. any of these a character already had they instead gain 1 step up in damage dice (d4's become d6's d6's to d8's etc) in addition they may use the survival skill for tracking creatures, have the scent skill like wolves, and may move through forested terrain unimpeded by any obstacles

Living Breath: once per day the forest dweller may take a full round action to catch their breath and regain 2d20% (rounded down) of their maximum hp if done in combat this ability provokes an attack of opportunity

Hearty Body: the forest dweller now gains a +(class level) bonus on resisting all poisons and diseases

Hard Skin: The forest dweller's body now is treated as having 15 hardness only for the purposes of resisting sunder attempts

Regeneration 1: The forest dweller now has a perpetual regeneration 1 effect applied to them

True Monster: The forest dweller's natural weapons gain a additional die of damage, they may also gain the natural abilities of any 4 animals they select, and as long as the forest dweller is in a plant heavy area they are treated as having regeneration 10

Ex-Forest Dweller[edit]

If a forest dweller ever willingly forsakes their monstrous gifts they permanently lose all abilities and bonuses gained from this class unless they find a being that can restore their form.
