Flare (D20 Modern Equipment)

When this is activated (a standard action), it blinds all creatures and characters that can see the creature or character activating the flare (including the creature or character activating the flare). Creatures and characters affected by the flare can attempt a reflex save (DC 18) to attempt to prevent being blinded (DC 10 for the creature or character activating the flare). This effect lasts for D10 rounds (affecting all that move into line of sight of where the flare was dropped), and then the flare explodes, dealing 4D10 damage to all within 10ft of where the flare was dropped.
