Flame Armor
4th-level Transmutation
Casting time: 1 Action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (a chunk of brimstone)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

The caster's skin gains a texture like molten rock and they burst into flame, creating bright light for a 10ft radius and dim light for an additional 20ft. For the duration of the spell, the caster has resistance to fire damage, and when a creature within 5ft of you that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to blast them with searing flames causing them to take 2d8 fire damage. However, the caster becomes vulnerability to cold damage, as well as being submerged in water or exposure to oxygenless environments will end the spell's effect early.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell at a higher spell slot, it gains +1d8 fire damage for every spell slot level past the 4th. If you use a 7th level spell slot or greater, it provides fire immunity instead of resistance.
