[edit] Physical Qualities
Feralings are small fey humanoids with animalistic (feline, canine, or other) features. Their fingers have retractable claws. They are typically covered in fur or sometime light scales and have a bone structure which resembles fey animals. They are always bipedal. Feralings wear minimal clothing appropriate to their climate and the local culture.
[edit] Playing a Feraling
Their personalities are as varied as the fey animals traits they mimic. They can be prideful, vain, clever, moody, obvious, curious, and aloof.
Feralings are native to the feywild and will seldom be seen outside of the fey lands, but when they are they typically have an important purpose or overwhelming wanderlust driving them.
Feraling Characteristics:
Feraling names vary by traits and origin, but most adopt a common name that they use with non-fey as well as have "their name"; based off fey origins.
Male Fey Names: Shivro, Kaluk, Maulu
Male Common Names: Ripclaw, Silvertongue, Mad-fur
Female Fey Names: Vaniya, Taluwa, Haunikii
Female Common Names: Razorblossom, Swiftsong, Wildheart
[edit] Feraling Adventurers
Razorblossom is a feraling warlock who accidentally wandered into an ancient fairie shrine. In exchange for her continued life, she pledged herself body and soul to the fey mistress of the shrine and now serves as a protector of all fey.
Maulu is a feraling ranger and tracker. He despises the orcs and humans who trespass across his territory. Each year these foul creatures steal more and more of his forest and there seems to be nothing he can do against their overwhelming numbers. Maybe it is time for him to seek a new territory farther from civilization.
Mad-fur is a feraling rogue. He is practically insane, or atleast that is what he wants his enemies to believe. Not long ago he became a mercenary scout. He enjoys the solitude of solo scouting missions, but he also desires to be part of a larger community or tribe.
