Fell Channeling is capable of acting as either Fell Archery or as Hideous Blow (CAr 134), but only one at a time. In addition, if the warlock's base attack bonus is +6 or higher, he may make (as a full-round action) as many attacks as his BAB allows (eg. an 8th level warlock could make one attack at +6 and another at +1). Using this blast shape invocation does not provoke attacks of opportunity when using a melee weapon, but it does when using a ranged weapon or thrown weapon.
