As you walk deeper into the warehouse, you hear a familiar hydraulic hissing. This seems to be much closer than you could imagine, however. You shine your flashlight down the hallway, and see movement far down at the other end. The form tenses up for a moment, then comes charging at you with unbelievable speed. You duck just in time and look up to see a FangX model flying over your head. It is far bigger than the design you've seen before, but appears to be just as fast, regardless of its 9 foot length.
The FangX is one of the first robots created by Tribal Technologies that uses an animal as its frame design. The FangX is modeled after a Wolf, and behaves very similar to one. Obeying vocal commands from the owner, these robots are also able to behave by themselves and in tandem with other FangX models.
The FangX Mk 2 was specially designed to be a more powerful and intimidating version of the FangX Mk 1 without sacrificing any speed in the process. The result was a model that was simply bigger, measuring approximately 8.5 feet long and 3 feet wide. It uses a slightly upgraded targeting system, and the eyes no longer operate independently. This takes away from the crazed look that became a major selling point to those who wanted FangX for more of a deterrent than a operating guard. The FangX Mk 2 is by no means less frightening, however, with slightly more realistic metal 'hair' and a weight of 1200 lbs.
Trip (Ex): A FangX that hits with a bite attack can attempt to trip the opponent (+1 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the FangX.
