You stand over your foe and fire off another round into his chest. As the silence settles in after the final gunshot, you hear the light hissing of hydraulics and clacking of metal. It's a very rhythmic patter, and as you look down the alley, you see a mechanical beast round the corner, charging straight towards you. It resembles a wolf, but it is constructed completely of metal, and where the fur on the neck would normally be, there are overlapping heavy metal plates. The creatures eye's glow red, and its metal hair stands on edge. It emits a metal grinding that could hardly be mistaken for a growl, and pounces at you.
The FangX is one of the first robots created by Tribal Technologies that uses an animal as its frame design. The FangX is modeled after a Wolf, and behaves very similar to one. Obeying vocal commands from the owner, these robots are also able to behave by themselves and in tandem with other FangX models.
The FangX Mk 1 frame is generally constructed from metal plating, offering a moderate amount of protection to the internal systems of the robot. It is generally painted a dark gray, with some red detailing for effect. The eyes are red orbs, each containing a camera which feeds to the core of the machine. These cameras may move and operate independently, sometimes creating the effect of the FangX's eyes rolling in their sockets.
Trip (Ex): A FangX that hits with a bite attack can attempt to trip the opponent (+1 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the FangX.
