Elfephobia (3.5e Flaw)
From D&D Wiki
[edit] Elfephobia
You have a fear/hatred of all kind of Elves
Prerequisite: None
Effect: Because of a racist upbringing or a murder of someone you cared for by Elves, you've grown to fear or hate all kind of Elves. This can be hate or fear, and though it should be a phobia of all Elves, it can be just Drow or Avariels or High Elves, or whatever.
If chosen as a hate, you must make a will treat all elves as hostile, and get -1/2 your character level rounding up to all charismatic skills dealing with them, except for indimidation and bluff. You must also make will saves equal to 15 + character level in order to not outright attack the elf or elves in question.
If chosen as fear, upon initial contact with any elves, you must make a will save equal to 15 + the number of elves present, or run as if effected by a Fear spell. If the test is passed, you still treat the elves with distrust, and will recieve -1/2 character level rounding up on all charisma checks dealing with them.
{This is great for a background story and can be interesting gameplay if roleplayed right.}
Benefit: Bonus feat if fear. You gain Elves(Or the subtype of Elves you have chosen) as a favored enemy if hate.
Reason for edit: Having a hate/fear of elves with no real game mechanics or effects just seems like a free feat. Flaws aren't meant to give players a free feat.
