Elf Druid question

Im sorry if this question is a proper newbie one. can an elf druid weild a longsword, longbow, as an elf they naturally have the prof to use both, but does being a druid stop this?

Druids have no restrictions on weapons. If they are proficient, then it can be used without penalty.
