Beings of righteous freedom, Eldei are always free to roam where they will, but have an incredible and irrefutable sense of right and wrong.

Play an Eldei if you want...
- To be a free-spirited person whose greatest fear is being trapped in one space
- To love to fly and race, anything having to do with going fast
- To be a member of a race that favors the Rogue, Druid, Invoker, Warlock, Warlord, and Psychic Warrior classes.
[edit] Physical Qualities
Eldei are basically Eladrin whose arms are also wings. They have the same physical traits from their remarkably slender builds, to their monochromatic eyes. However, They do stand a full head taller than Eladrin, in general. They have claws on their feet and an irregular toe formation, with two in the front, and a third, much stronger one branching off of the heel in the back. Their arms are like regular arms except that their fingers are abnormal in that they are akin to bat arms in that they have two fingers that are normal, except that they are clawed, and three more fingers that extend to form the wing. The three fingers in the wing are exeptionally long and strong, to support the body in flight. The two normal fingers are both in very limber ball-and-socket joints so they can act as though they are oppose able and hold weapons just fine, even though they really aren't. The Eldei grow up in either Eladrin treetop villages, or the gloomy Drow Underdark. If they lived in the light, their wings will be feathered and their skin, hair, and eyes will be akin to Eladrin, but if they were raised in the underdark, their wings will be leathery, and their skin, hair, and eyes will be that of the Drow.
[edit] Playing an Eldei
The Eldei are often very sociable and don't like to be cooped up in one place for more than about a week. However, when someone intrudes on their strict values they are quick to respond with fierce and severe punishment whether the violation was big or small, the consequences are always painful and often frowned upon by any non-Eldei witnessing or hearing of the incident. They often take on the traits and values of the people who they were raised with, except that they are always very social and friendly no matter where they come from and are often considered bad influences on the Drow children because they are too trusting.
