Fey Ancestry. The drow has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put the drow to sleep.

Incorporeal Movement. The drow can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.

Innate Spellcasting. The drow's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: dancing lights
3/day: misty step
1/day each: darkness, faerie fire, levitate (self only)

Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the drow has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The drow makes two attacks.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage, plus 10 (3d6) necrotic damage.

Hand Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 hour. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the target is also unconscious while poisoned in this way. The target wakes up if it takes damage or if another creature takes an action to shake it awake.

REACTIONS

Parry. The drow adds 4 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the drow must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.

Drow shadowswords are drow warriors that wield the power of the shadows and are often used as assassins. They have the ability to teleport and they can phase through solid objects.
Elves hold a special hatred for drow shadowswords, though no two elves can agree on the exact reason why. Some say it is because an ancient high elf king was assassinated by a shadowsword. Others say that a group of shadowswords destroyed a magnificent temple dedicated to the elven gods. Others still say that the fighting style of the shadowswords was first used by an order of elf knights dedicated to Corellon Larethian that was tempted to join the drow by agents of Lolth. The knights then taught the drow their techniques and the drow twisted them into an evil and shadowy art to mock the elves.
