These are made of very small dragon scales from either a very young dragon or a part of a dragon's body which has smaller scales. When worn this item provides an energy resistance of 5 to the element matching the breath weapon of the dragon these scales came from, as well as DR 1/-. In order to properly impart these qualities, the pants must be very tight and uncomfortable, increasing the wearer's armor check penalty by -2.
It should also be remembered that wearing dragon scale pants, as with any draconic body part, will earn the enmity of any dragonblooded creatures which see them.
