Traits
Displacement
When a melee or a ranged attack hits the displacer beast, if the player rolled an odd number on the attack roll, the attack misses. If the player rolled an even number on the attack roll, the attack hits as normal, and the beast loses this trait until the start of its next turn.
Threatening Reach
The displacer beast can make opportunity attacks against enemies within 2 squares of it.
Superior Brain
Any dazing or stunning effects on the displacer beast end at the start of its turn.
Instinctive Blitz
On an initiative of 10 + its initiative check, the displacer beast can use a free action to use cunning blitz. During the movement from cunning blitz, the displacer beast gains a +4 bonus to all defenses against opportunity attacks. If the displacer beast cannot use a free action to make this attack due to a stunning effect, then that effect ends instead of the ddisplacer beast making the attack.

Melee.png Cunning Blitz ♦ At-Will
Effect: The displacer beast shifts up to half its speed. At any point during that movement, it uses tentacles once, or twice against different creatures.
Close.png Tentacle Vortex ♦ Recharge when first bloodied
Attack: Close burst 2 (enemies in the burst); +13 vs. Reflex
Hit: 2d6 + 5 damage, and the beast slides the target up to 2 squares.
Miss: Half damage, and the beast can slide the target 1 square.

Trigger: An attack misses the displacer beast.
Effect: (Free Action): The displacer beast shifts 1 square. Before or after the movement, it uses tentacle.
