How do spellcasting and flying work together?[edit]

If you have perfect flight manuverability can you still cast spells while flying or do you have to hover then cast or land and cast? or is there specific feat you must get to cast spells while flying?

Flying is a move action. To cast while flying, you require the feat Flyby Attack, which allows you to take a standard action anywhere during your fly move. However, without it, you must stop moving and hover to cast spells.

That's not entirely true. You can make your normal move action (casting spells is a standard action normally, as you said) -- whether or not you can cast without Flyby Attack depends on your movement speed and maneuverability.
