Developed Character
Enchantment [Compels attacker to capture target alive]
Level: Sor/Wiz 3
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Duration: Until triggered
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

Once triggered by a potentially fatal attack this protective spell compels the attacker not to kill the subject. Although the attacker may have every conceivable reason to want the subject dead and although they could easily get away with murder, instead they will capture the developed character. Then, against all reason, they will thrust the developed character into what seems a perilous situation that later proves to be easily escapable once the captor decides they have better things to do then to watch you sweat.

While there is no saving throw against this spell it can be dismissed by casting renegotiate contract.

Material Component: An interesting description of the character and a red shirt to be burned in effigy. In fact, burn all your red shirts.
