As the eyes of the once fallen warrior open for the first time since the end of their life, the blue fire within them blazes savagely for revenge. The new born Death Knight rises from the ashes of their grave and dislodges their weapon from their last slain enemy. As the cold warrior removes their weapon a frosty chill runs down its metal and magical runes are etched into its blood bathed blade. The Death Knight observes the carnage of a battle fought several days ago. Their eyes burn with hatred and redemption. The Death Knight's dead white hair blows in a wind from the east. Their lifeless white face quiveres at the cool breeze. The fury of the Death Knight over comes him and he raised his voice and soul into the heavens. The Death Knight looks at the setting sun on the horizon, turns, and walks in the other direction into the comforting darkness of night.

Death Knight Overview

Characteristics: Blue burning eyes, frost forged weapon/armor, dead white hair, cold dead skin, and an aura of death.
Religion: Death Knights are loyal to the Lich King and the scourge. However a small outcast of the death knights called the Ebon Blade broke away from the Lich King's grasp and has returned to their lives they had when they still had beating hearts.
Races: All Races have been transformed, but Goliaths surprisingly make strong Death Knights, as well as Devas and Eladrin.

[edit] Creating a Death Knight

Death Knights may take on two roles in a encounter, defending and striking. There are three builds for a death knight. Blood is a build for defending in which the death knight focuses on attracting damage and minimizing it. Frost is a build for striking which focuses on dealing as much damage as possible. Unholy is a build for striking by putting diseases on a target to create a scenario where damage is constantly being done to the target with the addition of an undead companion to do the death knights bidding.

[edit] Blood

Blood DKs focus on grabbing a group of enemies' attention (by force if necessary) and causing damage to them while minimizing damage to themselves.

[edit] Extra Death Knight Info.

Death Runes: Death Runes are the Death Knight's way of using their powers in the actual game World of Warcraft. I would have included them completely in this class but it would be frustrating to work with the recharge of the runes and it would just be pointless, but you can still imagine your person's runes on their weapon glowing and sparking with energy as your person uses it to vanquish your enemies.

Summon Undead (Unholy): The Death Knight's undead ghoul summon is a usefull tool to a group and can keep damage constant on enemies. However the ghoul can easily be misused. It must be brought to your attention that the ghoul may not grant combat advantage or be healed because this would make the game too easy.

Deadly Intent: Death Knight's cannot use shields they are more concentrated on ripping flesh apart with big weapons.
