Rating[edit]

Power - <<<5>>>/5 I give this class a <<<5>>> out of 5 because I gave this class a 5 do to the overpowering capabilities that a shapeshifter can have while un this class with all the abilities etc. Unfortunately however as GM this class is overpowered, and I have had to make some personal modifications to allow it for them. As a PC tho I think this is quite ingenoius, and applaud your work. -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.93.151.228 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts!

Kind of all over the place[edit]

This class is a little ridiculous with its CR availability running amok everywhere. At first level, you can be a CR 1 anything, and you can keep up with the rest of the group by adapting to the seperate challenges. At 2nd level, you're still up in the ranks, and then things start to suck as 3rd level rolls around. By 3rd level, the CR of your morph becomes less than the CR of your character, and by level 20 you're emulating things that you fought nine levels ago... that's weak. At least bring the CR up to 3/4 level + 1. CR 16 isn't too bad if you're doing it often.

Ideas[edit]

Instead of having two good saves and full BAB all the time, perhaps when it shifts it looks like this: "When not shifting, the shifter's BAB is equal to a wizard's and all of its saves are poor saves. However, when shifting, its BAB is equal to the creature the shifter is emulating, to a minimum of its own BAB in its shifter class only (to guard against gestalt and multiclass shenanigans), and its base saves are equal to the base saves of the form it's emulating, to a minimum of its own base saves in its shifter class only (to guard against gestalt and multiclass shenanigans). Just a thought. (: --Scryer's Eve (talk | contribs) 05:06, 3 October 2011 (MDT)
