The construct lab is a portable work enviroment for an artificer to creat magical constructs. The lab grants the artificer the ability to make constructs as if he had the Craft construct Feat. In addition, an artificer (ECS 29) can power the lab with infusions, granting them greater power. Using an infusion to power Construct Lab requires 10 minutes and the expenditure of an infusion of the appropriate level. An infusion powers the lab for 24 hours.
Using a first level infusion grants +1 circumstance bonus to Use magical device checks for the purpose of emulating crafting prerequsites.
using a second level infusion grants +2 circumstance bonus to use magical device checks for the purpose of emulating crafting prerequsites.
using a third level infusion grant +3 circumstance bonus for the purpose of emulating crafting prerequsites and reduces the gp cost of crafting by 5%.
Using a fourth levle infusion grants +4 circumstance bonus for the purpose of emulating crafting prerequsites and reduces the gp cost of crafting by 10%.
Special: A greater version of this lab grants both the craft construct feat and Improved Homunculus when used by a non artificer it allows the upgrading of the HD of existing Homunculus. (+ 10,000 gp base price)
Normally wizards using the craft Construct feat to create Humunculi can only add hit die at the time of creation
