[edit] Combat Training [Campaign]

Because of some training you have done, you have a single item which would normally be out of reach for you!

Benefit: You went through a simple, but rather effective, round of combat training at some point in your life. As a result of this, you have gained a single weapon or armor which would normally be unavailable to you.

When you select this trait, choose a single mundane weapon or armor, and you start play with one. This item must fit within the following criteria:

  • It must be mundane and may not be mastercraft or made from any special substance.
  • It must be an item of value less than 2,000 Gold Pieces.
  • It must be an item which you would otherwise be unable to afford.
  • It must be a weapon or item with which you are already proficient.

This item has been passed down to you by your mentor, your trainer, or your commanding officer. If the item is lost, destroyed, or stolen, it is not automatically replaced. This is a one time gift!

Drawback: None

Special: To players playing in the PF system, this is a Campaign trait.

Roleplaying Ideas: Because of the nature of the training, you may feel a sense of obligation to the person or organization who gave you the training, and the object.
