[edit] Class Selection

LAI's classes can use any classes from the Player's Handbooks, as well as new custom ones made for the setting. However, some of the worlds have limitations or other rules for some classes; such as Farfallen not allowing Arcane powers, or ThunderValley with Divine Classes having no deities. The classes are for use in the normal three-tier system of Heroic, Paragon and Epic. The hybrid versions of the classes for hybridising character classes (Player's Handbook III) are located in the class pages themselves.

Alternate versions of the classes in the Player's Handbook exist in LAI also. Some classes will require specific home-ruling. If this is so, a box at the top will detail which homebrew to use.
