Many of the deities of Anazar are thought to have sprung forth from the body of Chaos himself. Chaos is the pure, driving force of energy in the universe. If Gaia is the material of the world, Chaos is the energy that causes it to grow, expand, contract, writhe, and otherwise live. Chaos is utterly unpredictable, and has few worshipers; most mortals prefer to worship a god that has more care for his followers. Chaos is only motion; he is incapable of maintaining one direction or concern for long, so most mortal pleas to him should be short and concise. For this reason, entreating Chaos for aid is a common response for an Anazarian whom is suddenly in need of a short bout of luck.
