  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

A large titanium chainsaw-like blade, by fueling it with a liquid fuel like oil and taking a full-round action to rev up the mechanism. The chain mechanism raises the critical from 19-20/x3 to x4 and deals an extra 5 damage. Revving up the chain blade is a full round action that provokes an attack of opportunity, and any enemies nearby that haven't discovered you yet get a +5 on their listen checks. The chain mechanisim remains active for 10 rounds. The fuel must be changed after each use, and changing the fuel is a move action that provokes an attack of opportunity. The wielder of this weapon makes a full-round action to attack and only gets one attack with it. Due to the immense skill and precision involved in making such a weapon, all chain blades are considered masterwork. -By Occorru
