The repeating carbine holds 10 rounds. As long as it holds rounds, you can reload it by pulling the lever (a free action). You many only continue to fire as long as you are hitting your target, if you miss your target you may load another round, and end your turn unless you have other free actions. Loading 5 new rounds is a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity. Thus it takes 2 full-round actions to fully expend all rounds.
