Carbine, Lever-Action Repeating (3.5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: This is really just too good. High damage and high crit, compare the various bows. The "drawback" really isn't much of one.

  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

The repeating carbine holds 10 rounds. As long as it holds rounds, you can reload it by pulling the lever (a free action). You many only continue to fire as long as you are hitting your target, if you miss your target you may load another round, and end your turn unless you have other free actions. Loading 5 new rounds is a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity. Thus it takes 2 full-round actions to fully expend all rounds. You many only continue to fire as long as you are hitting your target.
