Calculated Warrior (3.5e Prestige Class)
From D&D Wiki

Calculated Warriors analyze the situation carefully, using every stumble, potential weapon, bonus, and chink in defenses to maximum effect. Rather than using brute strength, incredible skill, or vast knowledge of spells to dominate, they use what is already there to defeat enemies.
Becoming a Calculated Warrior
Calculated Warriors can easily gain Combat Advantage, deal extra damage, can ignore Armor Class and are hard to hit. Rouges and anything with Sneak Attack does well with this class. They can also be used as defenders, perhaps in conjunction with Fighter.

Class Skills (4 + Int modifier per level)
Calculated Warriors use pre-judged cuts, slashes, moves, and blocks to stay one step ahead in battle. They can predict enemy moves to counter-attack, dodge, . All of the following are class features of the Calculated Warrior.
Combat Opportunity: Whenever your enemy has any penalizing status condition, the enemy is treated as flat footed to you, or takes an additional -1 to Armor Class if already flat footed. This can be stacked only once per status condition. In addition, multiple effects that flatfoot an enemy count as an additional -1 to Armor Class.
Calculated Strike: Whenever your target is flat-footed, you can remove one Armor Class penalty from Combat Opportunity to execute a Calculated Strike as a full-round action, making a normal weapon attack but dealing extra damage and gaining a bonus to the attack roll equal to the number of bonus damage die. At 5th level, you can use this ability as a Standard Action and any time an action such as a Charge specifies a single melee attack. At 10th level, you may use this ability as the first attack of a Full Attack, and at 15th level you may make each attack in a Full Attack a Calculated Strike.
Prediction: As a standard action, you can remove one armor class penalty from Combat Opportunity from an opponent to predict their next action. This prediction must be accurate to the action used, the target and the time taken, and must be either recorded and hidden until the prediction is proved correct or incorrect. For example Alexander the Calculated Warrior could predict that *this round, when he moves to this point*, a specific orc will make an *Attack of Opportunity* on *him*.) If you succeed, you can make an Calculated Strike during the action taken if they are within attacking range. At 6th level, you gain this benefit by only predicting two attributes: Action, Time or Target, requiring only a move action to predict.
Artful Dodging: You can dodge attacks with uncanny precision. You gain an additional dodge bonus to AC equal to half your Calculated Warrior level when using a full defense or defensive attack action. In addition, you can gain that benefit a second time for one round by forgoing one armor class penalty from Combat Opportunity as a Free Action. At 7th level, you can gain this benefit twice, stacking, by forgoing the armor class penalty from Combat Opportunity twice.
Combat Focus: You gain a bonus to any combat relevant (DM's discretion) skill checks during combat equal to your class level. At 8th level, you can take 10 even in combat.
Unnering Strike: As a part of a Calculated Strike, you can remove two armor class penalties from Combat Opportunity from an opponent to open them up to your next attack. Your Calculated Strike attacks the opponents Touch armor class instead of their normal armor class.
Playing a Calculated Warrior
Combat: Can defend or attack physically. They tend to spend a round stacking Combat Opportunity, then wiping out the opponent with their next few strikes.
Advancement: Combat Opportunity's flat-footing is quite advantageous to rouges and other sneak attacking classes, while its damage and defense is quite good on it's own. Pairing with a few levels of Fighter could help you gain a few feats, while a class with ranged advantages could help you become a powerful striker from afar. Levels in a casting class could allow many more Combat Opportunities, as would a Tome of Battle class like Swordsage or Warblade using a debilitating discipline. In general, Calculated Warrior is a strong class for any even partially martial adventurer.
Resources: Calculated Warriors are simply people who learn a new style of fighting. As such, there is no organization that specifically caters to them.
Calculated Warriors in the World
|“||I can turn a battle from loss to victory, save the world and not lose a single man. This I do without lifting a finger, as it is not my physical prowess that drives me but my maximized use of the world around me.||”|
Again, these warriors are not a group, they simply learned a new style. They might be renowned fighters, however.
Calculated Warrior Lore
Calculated Warriors are not really known as a separate group from other people. Being a calculated warrior simply is a style of battle. However, research (Intelligence Check) can reveal some insights into strategies of this style of fighting.
