Chaotic Evil
Domains: Undeath, Torment
Warpriest Domain: Death

Buthimier[edit]

He resides in the abyss. If one commits an evil enough act, they might just be noticed by Buthimier. Your soul is his should he desire it, whether in life or in undeath. He craves those with true darkness in their hearts. Necromancers, the undead, tyrants, and common criminals offer their private prayers to Buthimier, as there are no temples to him. His followers meet in places of seclusion, and always only in groups as large as two or three: one elder follower and his students in the Way of Dread.

Buthimier sets these guidelines for all who will follow:

  • Kill all. To bring death is to bring glory to the eyes of The Breathless One
  • Revel in the death of the innocent.
  • Undermine all that is good or lawful. The only set rule is that of the Father of Death.

Buthimier is also known as the Black Abyss, Butcher of Souls, Father of Death, and The Breathless One.

Quests[edit]

  • Destroy the Temple of a good-aligned diety.
  • Recruit a person of power and influence to follow Buthimier's will.

Rites[edit]

The Way of Dread looks favorably upon those who bring forth undead and use them to spread Buthimier's dark word into the world. He has no set rituals that you must follow, he is a lover to chaos and is angered by any real set ritual. He likes to be surprised by his follower's malicious acts.

Heralds and Allies[edit]

The Butcher of Souls has few allies and many enemies.
