Blind guardians are chosen by the god of judgment, Morgray, at birth. Growing up blind guardians have a natural sense of neutrality and can see the aura of all living, or once living things. At early years these blind guardians of Morgray are sought out by a cult known as The Eyes Of Morgray, Morgray's sightly servants who undertake the duty of finding and training blind guardians how to make use of there powers.Even though they are taught neutrality and are servants of the neutral god of judgment, a blind guardian still holds some mortal prejudice towards different auras, this prejudice is usually caused by the wicked appearance of the aura making them want to rid that type of aura from the world. All blind guardians are taught in the ways of the great sword and become instantly inept with any other type of weapon in there hands.
Blind Guardian Overview |
| Characteristics: You combine speed and wisdom to use hard-hitting melee attacks imbued with divine judgment and shift in and out of combat with ease. You are moderately resilient, Even more so when your not wearing armor and prefer to stay out of prolonged slug-fests. You use your prejudice to gain a natural attack and damage bonus against enemy alignments. Weeding out the wicked is your top priority. |
| Religion: Blind guardians worship the god of judgment, Morgray and bear his mark. |
| Races: Elves and Shifter(Razorclaw)are the favored races of Morgray, but Dwarfs can make formidable blind guardians then most. |
[edit] Creating a Blind Guardian
Blind Guardians depend on a high wisdom and a decent dexterity for defense and attack. Constitution is also useful, since it will help you survive. The two builds presented are the Inquisitor and the Justicar.
[edit] Inquisitor
The inquisitor is a master of pursuing justice and remains calm and collective at all times. Unlike other blind guardians you prefer to judge your enemy using a weapon infused with divine wrath and heavy armor. Most of your attack powers use Wisdom, so this should be your highest or second highest score. Constitution should be your first or second highest score to ensure survivability. Dexterity should be your third highest score, to take full advantage of dexterity based skills and improving your initiative. A strength of 13 is required to go the path of the inquisitor, to ensure access to Scale armor.
- Suggested Feat: Armor Proficiency Scale (Human Feat:Melee Training(Wisdom))
- Suggested Skills: Dungeoneering, Stealth, Insight
- Suggested At-Will Powers: Purgation Strike, Precise Strike
- Suggested Encounter Power: Level the Field
- Suggested Daily Power: Jury Of One
[edit] Justicar
The Justicar is a master of fighting without armor, relying on stability and quick movements to end a fight as soon as possible. The Justicar uses Wisdom as its main power source so this should be your highest score. A good constitution is required to ensure survival, so this should be your second highest score. A balanced dexterity(no pun intended) is recommended but not as necessary for the Justicar.
- Suggested Feat: Melee Training(Wisdom) (Human Feat:Improved Initiative)
- Suggested Skills: Insight, Nature, Thievery
- Suggested At-Will Powers: Purgation Strike, Thundering Palm
- Suggested Encounter Power: Falling Leaf
- Suggested Daily Power: Bliss Giver
