[edit] Barricade [General, Fighter]
warning.pngEmpty strings are not accepted.
Prerequisite: Str 17, base attack bonus +6
Benefit: The character gains a +4 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground). Furthermore, when he fights defensively, he may choose to bestow upon himself an additional shield bonus instead of a dodge bonus. This shield bonus is +4 when fighting defensively and +8 when using total defense. This bonus does not increase when the character has 5 ranks in Tumble and stacks normally with the shield bonus of the character's shield.
Special: A fighter may select Barricade as one of his fighter bonus feats.
A 6th-level Einherjar who has chosen the Defender battle style is treated as having Barricade, even if he does not have the prerequisites for it, but only when he is wearing medium armor or lighter.
