Banner Ring: This magical mithral ring fits behind the head of a polearm. When the polearm is more than 75 degrees to the ground a banner of colorful energy appears. Usually this banner depicts the king's colors or the colors of the unit the pikeman is associated with; occasionally an individual will fly his own colors in this way. It takes a 48 hour period for someone with the Craft Wondrous Item feat to change the banner to a new set of colors. When the banner is raised it gives all allies within 30 feet a +4 morale bonus to saves vs fear effects.
