[edit] Quest Introduction

It's just another day at the Scourge's Edge" tavern, a highly recommended planar waypoint in Broken Reach, a major city on the Infinite Layers of The Abyss. As a hot spot for mercenaries and merchants of all sorts, the "Scourge's Edge" provides food and drink, as well as a steady job, as the PC's need them. Making an average of 5 gp a day, not including bonuses such as tips and favors from the various patrons, the PC's have had no real reason to adventure beyond the gates of Broken Reach until today, and the reason is very dark indeed.

Mychaela, an alluring Succubus and de facto owner of the Scourge's Edge was recently mixed up in affair with Graz'zt, one of many Demon Lords. This lasted for roughly two months before Mychaela became fed up with the skirt-chasing, lustful actions of her significant other. During their last date, Mychaela attempted to break up with her regal boyfriend, much to his dissatisfaction. Now, unbeknownst to the PC's, Graz'zt has sent his cultists from Azzagrat to kidnap Mychaela in an attempt to "rekindle" their "relationship."
