[edit] Inquisition-6
Inquisition-6 is a private paramilitary organization. It is not connected to any government, nor is it officially headquartered in any single country. Though, they are [allegedly] paid large sums of money by many countries. Inquisition-6 is not totally secret to many of the world governments, but is relatively unknown to the general population. It boasts a large number of personnel, though the number is only known to a very few number of people.
Its personnel is commited in many roles including assassins, shocktroopers, undercover agents, scientists, and administrative staff.
[edit] Founding
The founding of Inquisition-6 is not known to anyone outside of the top administation of Inquisition-6 itself. It is rumored, however, that an assassin businessman by the name of William James Clark founded the organization in the mid-1960's.
[edit] Controversies
The conspiracy theories surrounding Inquisition-6 are many, even though they aren't known to any great extent by civilian populations. Some include that the United States and Soviet Union settled the Cold War through concerns of Inqusition-6 "interference." Another suggests that an Inquisition-6 sniper was the shooter in the Kennedy assassination, because of suspected US action against Inquisition-6. These are just to name a few.
[edit] Armed Forces
The military arm of Inquisition-6 is varied. Though they possess almost no mechanized units, they have some of the best military forces in the world. They usually are mercenaries out to advise a division of troops, assassinate a leader, or inflitrate a group or installation. But when Inquisition-6 does something on its own accord, it usually draws a lot of attention and "special attention" from the personnel from the country's government while they're there and while they're doing their job. This does frequently lead to tension with Inquisition-6, but no action is ever really taken, for fear of mass assassinations of their leaders.
The Basic Infantry, however, is divided into multiple categories:
- Shocktroopers
- Spectre (Infiltrators)
- "Boomers" (Demolitions)
- Ghosts (Assassins)
- Snipers
- Agents
- Reapers (Cleaners)
Shocktroopers tend to be used in very rare quick instances. Usually they are deployed to quickly (and violently) silence a group of people. They do try to be clandestine, but often end up in a very loud firefight with the enemy; these are ended quickly. They use surprise and firepower to overwhelm a larger enemy presence.
Infiltrators, called "Spectres," are used to quietly remove a person or people from a place; this usually encompasses kidnapping. This can also be done to rescue a person from a group of people. They use only the finest sound suppression tools and the best equipment to compliment such tools.
Demolition teams, nicknamed "Boomers," are usually called in to remove either a building/structure or a large group of unwanted "guests." They usually, and successfully, make it look like an accident.
The Ghosts are assassins; they use whatever they have to kill their target, and make it look like a accident nearly every time. They usually leave little or no trace of their work, thus those who know of them fear them. No person is out of their reach.
Snipers. They shoot people or things from a very far distance. These snipers are regarded as the best in their field.
Agents are the backbone of Inquisition-6; they are usually undercover, not meaning they infiltrate a group, and thus are the eyes and ears of the entire organization. They frequently work with the Intelligence department because of their freedom to move around the world.
The Cleaners, called "Reapers," are usually former Shocktoopers, Spectres or Ghosts. When something goes amuck and the target isn't killed or the package was stolen or such, they go in and kill the person or people. These units are the highest trained combat personnel in Inquisition-6.
