An enormous flying vehicle flies over your heads at an incredible height; it is followed closely, on the ground, by a wave of noise and flame that rends the very earth apart.

A B-52 is an enormous metal plane. Its crew is 5: a pilot, a copilot, a bombardier, a navigator, and an electronic warfare officer. It usually carries approximately 70,000 pounds of bombs and missiles, and approximately 10,000 pounds of crew, fuel, and ammunition for the tail gun.

Combat[edit]

A B-52 is an object, not a creature. It has a crew of 5.

Flight: A B-52 may increase its speed by 200 feet per round or decrease its speed by 400 feet per round, up to twice its base fly speed. It may turn 20° in a round over the course of its movement, and 15° up or down. Its greatest upward angle is 45° and its greatest downward angle is 45°. If its speed is below half its base fly speed, it cannot stay flying and quickly decreases to its greatest downward angle. If it exceeds its upward angle, its engines stall and it begins falling. It may move along a flat surface at the same speeds, and may take off when it exceeds half its base fly speed. If it touches the ground over its move at an angle of 15° or less, it lands safely, otherwise see its Great Speed.

Great Speed: A B-52 adds its speed divided by 100 as a Speed bonus to its AC and Reflex saves. If it comes into contact with a solid object, it takes damage equal to 1/6th of its speed.

Critical Vulnerability: A B-52 that suffers a critical hit is hit in an engine. It takes 3d6 Strength damage, and its maximum speed is reduced by 1/4.

Deploy Bombs: A B-52 may drop anything it has loaded in its bomb bay or attached to its wings, or any part of such, as a free action. (This is a standard action from the bombardier.) The bombs move at half the speed the vehicle was moving at when it released them in the same direction as it in addition to their falling speed.

Launch Missiles: A B-52 is equipped with the ability to fire missiles at targets. It can provide guidance to missiles from its cockpit.

Tail Gun: A B-52 may, three times per round as a free action, attack anything within a cone with its tail Vulcan gun. This attack does 25d6 damage to its target, with a Reflex save (DC 22) possible for half damage. This requires 50 pounds of ammunition per volley.

Sensors: A B-52's sensors give its pilot and copilot 360° darkvision to an essentially unlimited distance while they are at the controls and allow it to guide missiles.

Object traits: No Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma scores. Immune to all mind-affecting effects, poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, and necromancy effects. Does not heal damage automatically, but can be repaired. Repair requires a DC 12 Craft(Airplane) check per day, a welding machine or equivalent magic, and raw steel, and heals points equal to (the check result minus the check DC) / 5, rounded up. Immune to nonlethal damage, ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, and energy drain. Immune to any effect that requires a Fortitude or Will save unless that effect also affects objects. Immune to massive damage, but instantly destroyed at 0 HP. HP equal to HP/inch of material times effective thickness (12 inches). Cannot be raised or resurrected. Cannot grapple or be grappled.

Cost:9,290,000 USD; at the current price of gold, 22,769 GP. This does not include fuel, maintenance, or ammunition. It is impossible for players to buy a B-52 by any means.
