Ashana was once the daughter of Utiolth and Ashar, and danced and played in the fields of Nature's Strength. She was the goddess of spring and it was by her command that plants and animals returned from their long sleep in winter. But Utiolth was jealous and resolved to take Ashar's daughter as his bride. By his most subtle arts, he took her in the middle of the night, and then, using his most foul arts of torment, he broke her mind so that she was utterly evil and completely devoted to him. When Ashar heard of this she was greatly angered, and swore vengeance on Utiolth ever after. Atolnar was bern from the unholy union of Utiolth and Ashana, father and daughter. Ashana's realm, the Garden of Decay, is an immense garden where she walks, tending the plants and bloating them with her most virulent plagues. Her Avatar is a withered crone, dressed in black, wielding a scythe which she uses to bring woe and death to men.

Dogma[edit]

Unleash pox and plague and pestilence, plaguing the lands, poison the strong, 'til all is dark and woe.
Plague, Ravage, Rot, Decay and Death!

Clergy and Temples[edit]

Ashana's temples are small and hidden in caves, groves, and other natural areas. Her clergy is composed primarily of those who wish to destroy society, and people fascinated by plague and death.
