[edit] Class Features

<-fluff about class features; class features should be listed in the order which they are gained. Abilities gained at the same level should be listed alphabetically->. All of the following are class features of the Ascended Commoner.

Transform (Su): At 1st level, an Ascended Commoner gains the ability to turn herself into any Small or Medium creature and back again once per day. Her options for new forms include all creatures. This ability functions like the alternate form special ability , except as noted here. The effect lasts for 1 hour per Ascended Commoner level, or until she changes back. Changing form (to a creature or back) is a standard action and doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity. Each time you use transform, you regain lost hit points as if you had rested for a night.

Any gear worn or carried by the Ascended Commoner melds into the new form and becomes nonfunctional. When the Ascended Commoner reverts to her true form, any objects previously melded into the new form reappear in the same location on her body that they previously occupied and are once again functional. Any new items worn in the assumed form fall off and land at the Ascended Commoner's feet.

The form chosen must be that of a creature the Ascended Commoner is familiar with.

A Ascended Commoner can use this ability more times per day at 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 10th level, as noted on Table: The Ascended Commoner. In addition, she gains the ability to take the shape of a Large creature at 4th level, a Tiny creature at 5th level, and a Huge creature at 10th level.

The new form’s Hit Dice can’t exceed the character’s Ascended Commoner level + 5.

Summon Commoners (Su): At 2nd level, an Ascended Commoner gains the ability to summon 3 commoners to aid her once per day. These commoners are the same race as you and are of a level equal to your Ascended Commoner level + 10. The commoners are armed with pitchforks and will do anything you tell it to do to the best of its ability. The commoners last 10 rounds or until they die. At 4th level and every two levels afterwards, an Ascended Commoner can use Summon Commoners an extra time per day.

Ascended Magic (Ex): At level 3, a Ascended Commoner gains the ability to cast a level 3 or below spell from the Sorcerer/Wizard Spell List at will. <-extraordinary class feature-> (Ex): <-class feature game rule information, including any differences in the class feature at epic levels->
