Arcane is a weapon enhancement that can have one of two effects.

the first effect is the same as having a normal weapon but it leaves a purple (glowing?) trail behind it when swung, weapons of this type remove the strength modifier from the weapon when it attacks/hits, and instead give a +5 bonus to both, but the user may choose to subtract points from Attack/Damage and add it to the other, example-+2atk +8dmg, as long as they both add up to 10, negative number are not allowed and result in the automatic "1"

The second effect can only be applied to slashing weapons. This causes the blade of the applied weapon to "disappear" until the weapon is swung, at which time a purple/pink sub-blade opposite comes out. The length of the blade is determined by the speed of the swing. To determine the distance the weapon can reach, use this DEX Score*2=?/3(dexterity score times two=answer divided by three) The actual dexterity score is used, not the modifier. Weapons like this are treated as "light" weapons and grant the person holding them the effects of the weapon finesse feat with this weapon.
