The Alterers[edit]

An extra strong warrior, altered by magical energy.

Alterer (Warrior)[edit]

Creating a Warrior Alterer[edit]

Alterer (Warrior) is an acquired template that may be added to any humanoid, hereafter referred to as the base humanoid.

Size and Type[edit]

No change.

Hit Dice[edit]

The base humanoid's Hit Dice, including those from class levels, increase by one order of magnitude. A d4 becomes a d6, a d6 becomes a d8, a d8 becomes a d10, a d10 becomes a d12, and a d12 becomes a d12+2.


The base humanoid's speed remains the same.

Armor Class[edit]

The base humanoid's natural armor bonus increases by 2. If the base humanoid did not originally have a natural armor bonus, it gains one now.


The base humanoid retains the ability to use manufactured weapons.

Full Attack[edit]

No change.

Special Attacks[edit]

The base humanoid gains the following spell-like abilities: Enlarge Person 1/day (self-only), Magic Weapon, Greater 1/day (own possessions only).

Special Qualities[edit]
  • Damage Reduction (Ex):If the base humanoid originally had any form of damage reduction, said damage reduction improves by one point.
    If the base humanoid did not originally have any form of damage reduction, he does not gain damage reduction.
  • Alterer (Ex): For all effects related to type, the base humanoid is considered an outsider (native). However, the base creature may still be resurrected as normal.

Strength +2, Constitution +2, Intelligence -2, Wisdom -2.


No change.


The base humanoid gains a single bonus feat from the Fighter bonus feat list.


Alterers exists wherever the base humanoid exists.


Alterers are the sole members of a mysterious organization known as The Alterers.

Challenge Rating[edit]

The base humanoid's challenge rating increases by 3.


No change.


Usually True Neutral.


By character class.
